Queen's House is an institution that is run by the Oblates, a religious order of priests that has been a presence in Saskatoon for the past fifty years. The Oblates are diminishing in numbers as vocations to the priesthood are in a decline and fewer priests are active in ministry consequently there are less financial resources to sustain ministry at Queen's House. In a recent enviromental survey respondents encouraged the Oblates to maintain Queen's House to provide an atmosphere to enhance people in their spiritual journeys.
If this ministry is to survive, it is going to need the financial support from the laity of this city, in the province and from beyond. There is an imperative need for resources that meet program, building and operational needs.
Our prayer is that people will partner with Queen's House through their prayers and financial donations to sustain the ministry. As well,we take this opportunity to thank those who have already chosen to make this committment.
